Gel Bronzer and Illuminator with a Sprinkle of Glitter

Summer tans easily and chose an illuminator to highlight and some sparkle to accent. I am very fair complected, I will freckle and if I am not super careful, burn in the sun. So now that we are in mid August, I chose some bronzer to warm up my everyday look. Summer encouraged me to add some glitter as well…fun is fun!

As for choosing my bronzer, I went on a little excursion to the local drug store to see what I could find. By luck I found Rimmel’s Jelly Bronzer and Jelly Highlighter! They also have Jelly Blush that I am saving for a future post. The Jelly feels like a cross between pudding and jello. I love anything that adds moisture to my skin. I purchased the lightest shades in both, Jelly Bronzer in Paradise and Jelly Highlighter in Poppin’ Bottles.

I also nabbed NYX Born to Glow liquid illuminator. This is a versatile product that you could use alone. I chose to mix the illuminator in my foundation for some extra glow.

Rounding out the look, I chose a new favorite Maybelline Color Strike eye make up. I placed Color Strike in Charm all over my lid for a little color and added Color Strike in Hustle close to my lash line on top and bottom for some added bronze appeal.

Summer applied some Wet & Wild glitter gel to my cheeks, to keep her mom sparkling.

Here are all the products I used for a natural bronze glow:

Eyes: Maybelline Color Strike in Charm and Hustle

Face: Joah Angel Food Cushion in Natural Ivory with NYX Born to Glow in Gleam, Joah Truly Yours Full Cover Concealer in Porcelain. Rimmel Jelly Bronzer in Paradise, Rimmel Jelly Highlighter in Poppn’ Bottles. Wet & Wild Glitter Single in Spike.

Lips: Revlon Kiss Plumping Lip Creme in Apricot Silk
