Summer and I recently shared our Drew Barrymore Flower Beauty unboxing post. Now for the fun of trying and reviewing the products from Flower Beauty. We purchased a nice variety. Including items for skin prep, eyes, lips, and face. You can explore Drew’s Flower Beauty website here on her Home Page!

The first items we tried were the SuperNova Celestial Skin Elixir and SuperNova Celestial Priming Whip. We liked both products, for a full review check out this post!

Once our skin was smooth and ready we applied Flower Get Real Foundation and Flower Light Illusion Perfecting Powder.
Get Real Serum Foundation contains lavender flower water for brightening and refreshing your complexion, along with olive oil. Olive oil is a natural anti-inflammatory and offers hydration and anti-oxidants. The Get Real Serum Foundation comes in a wide range of shades, has buildable medium coverage, and offers a natural finish. The hydrating serum gives lightweight hydration to help skin look youthful.
Flower Beauty’s Light Illusion Perfecting Powder was awarded Redbook MVP Most Valuable Products 2018 and Hello Giggles Beauty Crush Awards 2019.
The Light Illusion Perfecting Powder is a soft focusing pressed powder. It imparts blurring pigments for a luminous glow. Offering medium buildable coverage and a smooth application. The compact has a mirror and sponge for on-the-go touch-ups.
We found both products wear well, though their finish is not as luminous as I prefer. Summer liked the Light Illusion Perfecting Powder to wear alone without foundation. My skin drinks up moisture, so I usually only apply a little powder to my nose to reduce shine, and like a dewy look on the rest of my skin.
Next, we tried Flower’s Petal Pout Lip Mask. This lip color treatment was awarded Women’s Health Editor’s Choice Award. It is infused with mango and cocoa butter to nourish and soften your lips. It has a hint of color, that shines and hydrates for soothing comfortable wear.

Drew’s Petal Pout Lip Mask wears like a gloss and offers treatment like a mask. Drew likes to combine products to create items that make you look good while they care for the skin. We both liked the feel of this lip treatment and it has enough colors to keep you coming back for more.
We also tried Flower Beauty’s Warrior Princess Mascara. This mascara is advertised as, “buildable, clump-free formula thickens, curls, and volumizes for a full coverage lash look fit for a princess. One coveted shade, rich and hyper-pigmented sets a new standard in darkness.” While we agree the shade was dark and the mascara is buildable, unfortunately, neither Summer nor I liked the formula. I don’t know if we were sent an old product, but it was clumpy and kept flaking off. It didn’t wear well or go on nicely. Sorry Drew but based on the tube we received we are going to pass on the Princess.
For those of you who want to try all the mascara’s (like me!), stay tuned for The Mascara Diaries, coming to The Age of Beauty soon.

Rounding out our purchases are were two more items, Forever Wear Eye-Lighter and Jungle Lights Eyeshadow Palette.
Forever Wear Eye Lighter is another of Drew’s products that were made for all skin and eye shades. It is designed to make your eyes look bigger and brighter. It can be used in the inner corner and brow bone as a highlighter. It is soft enough to use on the waterline and is long-wearing. I have used light blue in my waterline to brighten the whites of my eyes in the past. The Forever Wear Eye-Lighter is cream-colored and works well to conceal redness and perk up your eyes, it applies easily and wears well all day.
Jungle Lights Eyeshadow Palette has a bold tropical theme with shimmering intense pigments with a soft prismatic finish. The shadows are creamy and metallic. When applied with your finger you get a bold, shiny color. When applied with a brush you get a softer look. Jungle Lights is fun to wear and offers six shades. We liked the look when applied with our fingers, but found the shades muddied a bit when blended with a brush. All-in-all, a playful palette of shimmery color choices.
